SEND Teaching Assistant Level 2 in Wigan

An amazing Ofsted-graded 'Outstanding' special needs school in Wigan are recruiting for Level 2 Teaching Assistants to start with them in September!!

This large and popular school caters for pupils with a wide range of severe and complex learning difficulties from the age of 2 - 19, as well as a 19 - 25 provision catering for students with severe and complex medical needs.

As part of this full-time role, you will attend to pupils' significant personal needs, including moving and handling, personal care and postural management.

Relevant qualifications (e.

, Teaching Assistant qualification, CACHE Level 2, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.

Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.

CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
