Empowering Learning are currently recruiting on behalf of an SEND school in for a specialist Teaching Assistant.

The school is situated in Tamworth, Staffordshire and caters for children aged 2 to 19 across three different sites with SEND including autism, MSI, MLD , SLD and PMLD needs.

We are looking for candidates who have a relevant teaching assistant qualification or degree and experience working in schools supporting students with SEND.

The role is to start ASAP and will be full time and long term with opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

The role is Monday to Friday term time only 8:30am to 3:30pm.

The ideal candidate will:Hold a relevant qualificationHave experience working with needs such as autism and complex needsBe resilient and able to work in a challenging environmentBe able to work well as part of a team and take direction from the class teacherHave effective and creative behaviour managementbe adaptable and have a 'can do' attitudeBe able to get to Moseley for 8.

30am each day and be available for work until 3.

30pm.
