SEN Teaching Assistant | Southwark, SE1, London | £90-£105 | Long-term to perm |ASAP and September Are you an experienced teaching assistant with a background in SEND? Or a recent graduate who is looking to kickstart their career in education?LTF Recruitment are currently collaborating with a SEN provision based in the Southwark, London area. We are looking for an experienced individuals with experience in EYFS/KS1 and KS2 to join a positive working environment where providing care and appropriate teaching assistance for young children is the core goal.Roles & Responsibilities:Working alongside the classroom teacher and promote a positive learning environment that is also stimulating for children with SEN needs including ASD and ADHD.Promote the social, emotional, and academic development of students, fostering positive relationships and encouraging independence and self-confidence.Collaborate effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to assess student needs, set targets, and monitor progress.Establish positive partnerships with parents/carers, providing regular updates on student progress and offering support and guidance as needed.The Right candidate will:Have relevant experience working with children or young people with SEND, either in a school setting or other educational or care environment.Experience working in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.Have a positive attitude and willingness to help students succeed.Have strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.Be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to individual need.If you believe you have the relevant experience or think your attributes are the perfect for this role, please apply by submitting your CV via the application form or contact Laine at LTF Recruitment directly.
