The Role- SEN Teaching AssistantWe are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who has relevant experience in the field.

You will be required To work under the instruction/guidance of the SENDCo and other teaching/senior staff, within an agreed system of supervision to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for raising the literacy achievement of students with SEND.

To provide teaching (1:1 and groups) in addressing the literacy needs of pupils who require specialised input to overcome barriers to learning.

This may involve planning and delivering bespoke 1:1 and group interventions as well as working with subject teachers to exploit literacy opportunities across the curriculum.
