Job Title: SEN Primary Teacher Location: Outskirts of ExeterAbout the School:Timeplan Education is recruiting on behalf of a well-established SEN school in Exeter. This school is renowned for its pupil-centric approach, providing a broad and personalised curriculum for secondary age pupils with moderate learning needs and ASC. The student population also includes individuals with communication and sensory needs, requiring a nurturing and inclusive teaching environment.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and qualified SEN Primary Teacher with a strong background in teaching functional skills and basic English, maths and science. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lessons catering to class sizes of 8-10 pupils of secondary age pupils.Key Responsibilities:· Develop and implement tailored lesson plans in accordance with the individual needs of students.· Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.· Utilise creative teaching methods to make essons accessible and enjoyable.· Collaborate with support staff to address the unique requirements of each student.Position Details:Start date - 3rd September 2024.Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.Salary: £30,000 to £41,333 per annum, depending on experience, plus a SEN allowance.Requirements:· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).· Proven experience in teaching primary cirriculum and finctionsl skills.· Familiarity with SEN practices and a commitment to inclusive education.TimePlan Education Group Limited is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
