SEN Support Assistant in Croydon

Are you an enthusiastic educator looking for a new role? Education World is currently working on behalf of a Croydon based school to recruit a number of long-term Support Assistants (temp to perm opportunities as well as contracts for the 24/25 academic year).

THE ROLE:

• Full-Time positions available.
• Provide small group work and intervention support.
• Offering 1:1 support for pupils with special needs and lower ability.
• Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH needs.
• Supporting students with challenging behaviour.
• £85-90 per day.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be comfortable working with children who have MLD, ASC, and Behavioural issues.
• Advantageous if the candidate has experience with sensory-based learning.
• Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to apply immediately).
• Adaptable and professional demeanor essential.
