SEN Classroom Assistant - Newham, RedbridgeRemedy Education are currently looking for a SEN classroom assistant to provide classroom support within an SEN school.
The SEN school has students ranging from mild-severe with some being non-verbal and PMLD, whilst others have difficulties communicating and/or understanding and in need of extra support for basic curriculum.
Due to the nature of the role; experience of Makaton, PECS or Phonics would be excellent.
Students often require some personal care (toileting, dressing, feeding) - so if this is something you are comfortable with this would be preferred.
For the successful candidate this role is full-time and starting immediately with potential to go permanent.
You will need an enhanced DBS certificate to be considered for this role
