Security Officer in Steyning

We are currently recruiting for security officer's to join our team, on a government contract in the area. Security experience is desirable but if you don't have this, don't worry! We can train you to the customer standard. We just need you to be a great communicator, great at customer service and want to deliver the best security standards for the customer. We will also be able to support you through the SIA training course if needed, with different payment plans in place to suit you when working with Allied Universal. The rate of pay is £11.44 per hour. We currently have the following shift pattern available: 42 hours per week, working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. This requires flexibility Monday to Sunday, for day and night shifts. Please be aware that you will need to have your own transport for this role, as you cannot get to site on public transport. Your Time at Work Concierge duties Providing an efficient and effective Security Service for our client, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained. Superior Attention to Detail. Access and egress duties. Undertaking regular patrols, regular check calls, maintaining logs and passive CCTV monitoring. Effective monitoring of visitors and employees on-site and assisting to maintain high levels of site security. Understanding of adherence to Health and Safety regulations with responsibility for the Health & Safety welfare of colleagues alongside their own. Logging details of incoming visitors. Vehicle search. Booking vehicles and deliveries into King Charles Street. Bag/Luggage/Delivery Scanning for all External Visitors/Deliveries. Internal Fire & Flood Checks. External Patrols. Our Perfect Worker Due to licensing requirements, you will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. If successful, you will have to undertake an SC clearance, so you will be asked questions in relation to this in your telephone interview.
