About the School- Science Teacher/Teacher of Science Barking and DagenhamAs a Science teacher, your are responsible for promoting the overall progress and well-being of all of the students assigned to me as well as of any class or group of students I am assigned to.

Assisting students with their educational and social affairs; providing guidance and advice on further education and future careers, including information regarding sources of more expert advice on specific questions; maintaining records and making reports relevant to the students.

The purpose of this assignment is to keep records and make reports of the personal and social needs of students.

In accordance with the directives of the Head, parents of students should be consulted and communicated with.

In your role as a Science Teacher, you will participate in assemblies, register the attendance of students, and supervise them, irrespective of whether these tasks are to be performed before, during, or after school hours.
