Previous experience in a similar setting and knowledge of the Education system is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
  • Oversee the school budget, ensuring effective financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and procurement.
  • Provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior leadership.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement the school's strategic plan.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
  • Contribute to the long-term sustainability and growth of the school.
  • Human Resources:
  • Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and maintain accurate personal records.
  • Implement effective performance management systems.
  • Facilities Management:
  • Supervise facilities and maintenance staff, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Coordinate projects and maintenance schedules.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure the school's compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial management and strategic planning.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of the education sector regulations and funding mechanisms.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
