4Recruitment Services are seeking a School Attendance Officer for Schools based within the Walsall area.As an Attendance Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the attendance and welfare of pupils in the community. The role is full time, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday. The home/school visits are around Walsall Borough and the client will allow 1 day working from home per week.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:To support the School Attendance Support Service with home visits to support attendance. To liaise with schools, professionals, and other agencies to address attendance concerns. Maintain accurate and appropriate records in respect of casework. Contribute to the positive development and welfare of children and young people in Walsall. Conducting home visits to ensure the attendance and well-being of pupilS. Collaborating with educational teams and families to promote school attendance. Contributing to the positive development and welfare of children and young people. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:Access to Own Vehicle: You must have access to your own vehicle, along with Business Insurance, as you will be responsible for commuting within our area to conduct home visits.
