Job Summary:

This client-facing role combines demonstrable SAP Business One SDK development skills (version 8+), strong client-engagement abilities, and the responsibility for designing and developing both product and bespoke add-ons, as well as integrations with third-party systems.

Key duties include leading scoping sessions, developing bespoke solutions, providing implementation support, and maintaining project scope.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience with SAP Business One SDK, .

NET Framework with C#, and third-party integrations, along with a strong proficiency in SQL, HANA syntax, and SAP B1 data structures.

The key areas we are looking for experience in are -

• Demonstrable SAP Business One SDK development ability and knowledge (version 8+)
• Strong client-engagement skill set that is both flexible and inspires confidence.
• Responsible for the design and development of product and bespoke add-ons
• Responsible for the design and development of integrations between SAP Business One and third-party systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead Scoping sessions with client to gather requirements of bespoke solutions.
• Create the Technical documentation of the developments.
• Development of new or modification of existing bespoke add-ons and integrations between SAP Business One and third-party systems.
• Providing implementation consultation and support services during the different phases of SAP Business One implementations, upgrades, and other ad-hoc projects.
• Proficiency with the US and UK SAP localisations; other localisations are an advantage.
• Proficiency in using SQL-query, views and stored procedures. Proficiency in HANA syntaxis and reporting.
• Proficiency in the data structures of SAP B1 and any add-ons
• Able to encourage the best practice for the client, even if this means the client changing their practices or processes.
• Maintain a project within the agreed scope and assist the project manager in identifying and quantifying change requests.
• Able to demonstrate a basic level of IT infrastructure awareness.
• Confident in presenting and explaining complex ERP or data concepts to the client.
• Demonstrate experience of working in a consulting capacity with clients, including management of time, quality and cost
• Able to troubleshoot implementation issues and identify the root cause.
• Writing coherent, comprehensive and concise customer implementation and design documentation
• Demonstrable client engagement expertise and confidence that results in the client asking for the individual by name for further work.
• Teamwork skills.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Recent SAP Business One SDK Accreditation (9.

3 or higher) is highly desirable

• Boyum B1 Usability package certification is desirable
• Any other add-on product accreditations are desirable
• 5+ years of experience with SAP Business One SDK
• 5+ years of experience with .NET Framework with C#
• 5+ years of experience developing integrations with third parties and SAP Business One
• Codeless Platforms BPA experience is highly desirable and an advantage
• SAP BTP experience is an advantage
• SAP Build experience is an advantage
