Sales Executive

Salary: £26,000 per annum base + OTE £35,000


The ‘What’: the job


Reporting into the Head of Sales, the Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and generating new business leads as well as the the successful management of a personal small/mid-range client portfolio by providing specialist support to VHL’s customers.


Additionally, you will be targeted to seek and deliver new business and enhance existing revenue streams.


Key responsibilities:


  • Develop strong knowledge of the company’s products and services in order to facilitate the overall sales process
  • Make outbound cold calls to develop new business from identified prospective/proven client database
  • Increase brand awareness and introduce VHL's services via telephone, email and social media to identify new business
  • Dealing with in-bound client enquires from new and existing clients
  • Provide pricing, quotes and proposals to clients ensuring that all queries are followed up in a timely manner
  • Use marketing surveys to obtain information about potential leads
  • Conduct customer research and use said research to maintain lead generation database
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders within the private healthcare industry.
  • Generate and manage both cold and warm sales leads
  • Conduct onboarding calls
  • Provide accurate and timely information to VHL’s Senior Management Team


Your success will be determined by performance versus targets, customer satisfaction and retention, in the first instance.


Any other reasonable request by the Head of Sales.

The ‘Who’: About you


  • Self-motivated, dynamic problem solver, a complete self-starter
  • Experience of using outreach sales techniques and lead generation
  • Experience of conducting client research and manging sales databases & CRM software
  • Experience of using Hubspot (desirable)
  • You are proactive and happy to approach new business opportunities
  • Excellent at building relationships & negotiating
  • An individual with an ambitious nature with the drive to achieve and exceed targets. The individual must me comfortable working towards targets
  • Happy to work in a team environment alongside talented people who take pride in delivering great results

The ‘When’: Office Hours


40 hours a week - Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30.

New Lodge, Winkfield, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 4RR. (Hybrid - 4 days at the office and 1 day work from home).
