The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Media Sales Executive to join our Sales team.

The Media Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by selling advertising space and media solutions to clients direct and through agencies. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the media landscape, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. You will be helping to shape the future of our media proposition building on and integrating it further into our core proposition.



Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients direct and through agencies.
  • Understand clients' needs and provide tailored media solutions that meet their objectives

Proposal Development:

  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the marketing, production, and editorial teams to ensure the seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage billing and collections.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.


Requirements

Professional Experience

  • Proven experience in media sales, advertising, or a similar role with a strong track record of closing deals..

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of digital media platforms and advertising solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and CRM software (Monday.com)
