Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic international Sales Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products for our B2B clients.
This role involves not only driving sales and participating in industry events but also occasionally assisting the technical support team on-site at clients’ locations.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
B2B Sales:
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing B2B clients in the UK, EU and USA.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and sales leads.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to prospective customers.
• Prepare all sales papers including customs broker negotiations.
• Conduct business trips to responsible regions.
2.
Industry Events:
• Represent Quatromatic at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
• Network with industry professionals and stay updated on market trends and competitors.
3.
Technical Support:
• Collaborate with the technical support team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
• Occasionally assist the technical support team at client sites, providing technical guidance and support as needed (under the supervision of the technical support team).
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide solutions during the sales process.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites and industry events as required.
• Ability to handle various tasks in all areas of a small developing company.
Preferred but not mandatory:
• Experience in B2B sales.
• Knowledge of German or Spanish.
Salary: £50,000 per year, plus Key Performance Indicator (KPI)-based bonuses.
