The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity to earn great commission in a vibrant sales environment, working with customers who need to refer their clients to our conveyancing service (Altium Legal) to buy, sell or remortgage a property.

Altium Legal is a high-volume fast paced sales operation. The Sales Director is accountable for assisting and developing our team members to achieve sales targets and business objectives. Additionally the Sales Director will lead by example in contributing to the overall performance by delivering business sourced directly by their own efforts.

This full-time role is to lead, inspire and develop a team of BDMs and account managers and to support the wider management team in delivering our commercial success.

As Sales Director you will be accountable for delivery of sales results and management of task lists for your team of BDMs and account managers. You will be a confident communicator and effective decision maker with the ability to lead, motivate and manage remote team members.

In this varied role, you also have the opportunity to:

•Support, develop and motivate a team to maximise conveyancing instructions in line with budgeted requirement.

•Evaluation of performance metrics including productivity, task management and conversion across your team.

•Effective Identifying and implementing improvement in processes.

•Detailing sales results on a daily basis.

•Individual call analysis along with 1-2-1 feedback, coaching and leadership.

•Provide detailed feedback to the higher management team on individual’s progress.

•Review & implementation of team incentives

•Clearly communicate department and business objectives

•Implementation of sales strategies

•Generate your own prospects and source of potential clients.

•Continuously seek new commercial opportunities for all aspects of the business.

•Be up to date on all relevant market knowledge and use your expertise to help the business adapt and grow as market conditions change.

•Work on ad-hoc projects to alongside the CEO to grow the business.

•Be an ambassador for the company’s brands at meetings and networking events

Required skills and experience

•It goes without saying that the biggest element of this role is an understanding of sales and how to sell to B2B customers.

•Management and communication will be your strengths. You’ll also be a great listener and problem solver.

•You will also have a proven record of sales success and development.

•It is preferred that you will have a background as a Team Leader or Manager in a telephone based sales environment, ideally within the Conveyancing space of the UK Property Industry.
