Safeguarding and Welfare Officer Contract - Until Christmas Full-Time hours Pay Rate: Negotiable depending on experience Cheshire Our Client: Our client are a Good graded OFSTED College, striving for greatness. They deliver academic, vocational and apprenticeship courses to over 12,000 students. The role: This role is an absence cover for a member of staff until the Christmas Holidays. 37 hours a week, the hours are typically 8:30am - 4:30pm however this may be subject to change. Duties of the position: Dealing with college safeguarding concerns Liaising with the police and social services etc Safeguarding referrals Ensuring all students have access to support where required Attending meetings for cared for children Ensuring safeguarding records are accurately maintained, monitored and reviewed. What you need: An enhanced DBS - within one year, and checked against the child's barred list Experience working with young adults Level 3 Safeguarding Qualification Available to work on-site, full time - This role is not a hybrid role Experience working in the Further Education sector - Advantage Could this be your next challenge?
