Risk Reporting Manager - Part-time (21 hours/week; Wednesday-Friday - some room for negotiation on days)

National salary: circa £45,000 Pro Rata

London salary: circa £52,500 Pro Rata

We have generated great momentum since establishing the team in 2023 and are now looking to recruit another Risk Reporting Manager to help drive continuous improvement in the team's delivery!

This is a great opportunity for someone to gain an enterprise-wide view of the range of risks Aviva is exposed to, understand the big picture for our customers and the organisation, and drive innovation in reporting production and outputs.

Sitting within Group Enterprise Risk, the Risk Reporting team is central to delivering positive change across Aviva’s Risk Function and is critical in articulating key messages to support the business and our board in making informed decisions.

A bit about the job:

In this role, you will assist with both enterprise risk analysis and report production ensuring we land key messages in a way that enables management and boards to make risk-informed decisions.

You will be working closely with numerous senior stakeholders to understand key priorities, joining the dots across multiple areas of the business to ensure appropriate messaging to risk committees, and delivering at pace.

A key player in motivating change, you will help to foster a culture of continuous improvement, from automation of internal risk MI through to integration of external insights on industry wide issues.

Curiosity about the wider world, analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial to help shape ongoing improvements in risk reporting, ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and enable Aviva to keep up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to risk management.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both in written reports and verbally

  • Experience of risk analysis, whether that be financial or non-financial (or across multiple areas)

  • Understanding of multiple stakeholders' needs and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Strong interest in process improvement with attention to detail

  • Proven experience working in the Insurance or Financial Services industry

  • National salary circa £45,000 (Pro Rata), London salary circa £52,500 (Pro Rata), depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
