Apply NowAn exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the interagency work in relation to the protection of vulnerable adolescents within Middlesbrough Children’s Services.
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to lead and develop the operational arm of this work and ensure robust risk management of Vulnerable, Exploited, Missing and Trafficked children on behalf of Middlesbrough Council.
The successful candidate will have a wide variety of duties including the responsibility for managing and chairing the operational Vulnerable, Exploited, Missing, Trafficked (VEMT) practitioners group, seeking to protect vulnerable adolescents by co-ordinating a multi-agency approach.
You will direct, manage, and supervise a team and be responsible for the allocation and monitoring of their work, this includes the Missing from Home team to ensure Return Home Interviews take place in line with statutory guidance.
You will represent Children's Services in a variety of arena's and be expected to produce financial and performance reports.
