Risk Analyst in Winnall

Micheldever Tyres is looking for a Risk Analyst who has a strong background in financial risk management and considered a subject expert in identifying, defining, implementing and documenting risk requirements relating to J-SOX , GDPR, IT controls, PCI DSS.

MTS is going through a period of significant change as we embark on a company-wide Digital Transformation (DX) Programme, investing in the people and technologies that will truly drive our business forward, making it a unique and exciting time to join and play a key role as Risk Analyst in the successful delivery of our programme objectives.

As a Risk Lead, it is essential you have:

• Experience of financial risk and compliance or a similar related field
• An understanding / preparation of Risk Control matrixes
• Experience of J-SOX

Working on our largest ever investment program, supporting the deployment of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system across our Sales, Service, Order Management, Finance and Operations (including Supply Chain, Warehousing and Logistics) functions, as Risk Analyst you will apply your skills and knowledge to support these activities across all workstreams for the DX Programme.

As a Risk Lead you will play a key role in communicating between the programme teams and business users to ensure that risk management requirements are embedded within the newly defined processes.

• Hybrid: 1-2 days in the office at Winnall, near Winchester for DX Project, 2-3 days working from home

About the role:

• Agree timelines with key stakeholders, managing and challenging as required
• Evaluate business and systems processes and requirements to capture risk related issues.
• Gain insight on various program workstreams and activities impacting risk requirements to govern system and process changes.
• Plan the workstream deliverables with our Portfolio Delivery team and collaborate with colleagues across IT, business functions and implementation partner teams to execute the plan, manage issues, report status, progress and roadblocks.

About you:

• Experience on financial risk and compliance or a related field
• Understanding /preparation of Risk Control matrixes
• Experience of J-SOX
• A proven track record of understanding operational risks and supporting stakeholders in identifying and implementing practical risk mitigation solutions.
• Experience in process mapping tools.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential, DOE
