Montcalm East, AutographCollection, is a new breed of hotel, with a mission to support its vibrantneighbourhood of East London. After undergoing an extensive refurbishment, thehotel reopened its doors in May 2021 showcasing a brand-new interior designthat takes inspiration from the artistic heritage of the area with a particularfocus on photography.

Inhabit is a hotel brand with aheart for community, a head for life-enhancing hospitality, and wellness wisdomto share. Inhabit, Queen’s Gardens is the second West London Inhabit propertyto open, following the launch of Green-Key certified Inhabit, Southwick Streetin 2019. Inhabit, Southwick Street was awarded B Corp™ Certification in January2023. Inhabit Southwick Street is a member of Design Hotels and Inhabit QueensGarden will become a member of Design Hotels early 2024.

Park Grand London Hotels arecontemporary boutique hotels situated in some of London's best locations.

Reporting Structure:

The Revenue Manager RevenueManager  will report to the Commercial Director at Montcalm Hotels.

 

Responsibilities:

Revenue Optimisation:

·        Develop and implement strategies to optimise total top-line revenues for theregion and area, ensuring efficient control of cost of sale.

·        Using key monitors and financial targets to evaluate the respective hotelsdivisional performance and make plans.

·        Drive profitability and positive market share by analysing local and feedermarkets, competitor operations, and local demand patterns.

·        Provide strategic recommendations on channel, geographic, and segmentation mixvariations to maximise profitability.

·        Coach, mentor, and guide commercial and operational teams in revenue managementfundamentals.

·        Lead daily and weekly forecast process for the hotels under your responsibilityproviding an accurate forecast, in the required format and timelines.

·        Design and maintain a living action plan for each hotel under responsibility,specifying actions to incentive demand by market segment and following up on aweekly basis.   

·        Ensure the optimal Business Mix of the portfolio assigned, evaluating the needsper season and segment, coordinating efforts with the sales team and E-commercemanager.

·        Ensure the Hotels under your responsibility, are displayed correctly in alldistribution channels, and showing the desired parity (or lack of) andpositioning, reporting to sales and E-commerce possible flaws on contents orpossible improvements.         

·        Stay constantly on the search of new market opportunities, new customer niches,or potential markets, and coordinate with the sales team utilise thoseopportunities.      

·        Ensure the optimal Business Mix of the portfolio assigned, evaluating the needsper season and segment, coordinating efforts with the sales team and E-Commercemanager.          

Rooms Reservation Management:

·        Manage the day-to-day operations of the revenue department for the hotelportfolio under your responsibility.

·        Implement the appropriate tools and processes, establishing relevant keyperformance indicators (KPIs) for individuals in your respective departments.

·        Participate in projects aimed at improving productivity and efficiency withinMontcalm, Inhabit and Park Grand Group.

Financial Reporting andAnalysis:

·        Produce accurate and timely financial information for the hotels, assisting inday-to-day monitoring and management of commercial strategies.

·        Collaborate with the Group Director of Revenue, General Managers, Directors ofSales and Marketing, Directors of IT, Financial Director, other Director ofRevenue within Montcalm Group, and hotel teams to develop strategies forincreasing profitability across all revenue streams.

Selling Strategy and MarketAnalysis:

·        Work closely with hotel teams to update and manage selling strategies forindividual and group bookings across all distribution channels and reservationsources.

·        Analyse and forecast demand, establish effective selling strategies, oversellstrategies, and optimal market mix to optimise Average Daily Rate (ADR) andRevenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).

·        Check and improve with the Hotels the RGI with the best hotel specific Mix ofMPI andARI.                                                             

·        Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analyses to ensure ratepositioning and product offering are competitive within the market.

·        Check and improve the Fair periods of the Hotels. Increase as well the RGIduring these high demandPeriods.                               

·        Ensure the performance of the portfolio is up to expectations by DOW, WE/WD,and all the different approaches that our benchmarking tools provide.

·        Monitor the pricing and strategy of our competitors (primary and secondary(aspirational) comp set for each of London hotels and apartments) by season andmarket segment, taking it into consideration for our own pricing strategy ifneeded.

·        Optimize Total Revenue of the hotel portfolio under your responsibility.

·        Manage the portfolio pricing strategy by market segment and ensuring the rightpositioning of the Hotels in the Market.

·        Analyse daily, weekly, and monthly pickups and trends from differentperspective, using that info to optimize constantly our pricing and strategy.

·        Check the Production and evolution of the different Distribution Channels,(GDS, IDS, Montcalm Collection.com, Hotel direct...) and marketsegments.                                                  

Budgeting and Business Strategy:

·        Contribute to the overall financial success of the hotels by leading the annualbudgeting process for the region.

·        Define the ideal business mix and channel mix strategy, supporting all regionswith this process.

Requirements:

·        Minimum of 3 years of senior-level experience in hotel revenue management.

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal, listening, writing).

·        Advanced analytical skills with the ability to organise data and develop soundcommercial strategies.

·        Proven expertise in Property Management Systems (PMS), Revenue ManagementSystems (RMS), Booking Engines, distribution platforms, OTA Extranets, channelmanagers, data extraction software, and strong fluency in Excel.

·        Strong drive for success and a healthy competitive edge.
