Retail Development Manager in London

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Retail Development Manager to join our team, covering the East Anglia, Cambridgeshire, Southeast and London regions.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growth, building strong relationships with customers, and showcasing our high-quality products to the retail butchery industry.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with local Retail Account Managers and depot sales team to offer detailed demonstrations to customers.
• Responsible for assisting in the development of new sales and fostering strong relationships with key retail customers.
• Demonstrate the Dalziel range, providing guidance on how to use, make, display and pack retail products ready for sale.
• Responsible for continually providing customers with innovation and new product ideas, to maintain their interest and loyalty. In addition, you will have the opportunity to create new and innovative products using our full range of branded ingredients, with the aim of inspiring butchers in their craft.
• Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
• Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust

Essential skills and experience

• Current experience in a similar role and experience within the butchery industry
• Proven experience within business development
• Have demonstrable experience working with customers to increase market share and introducing new services
• Ability to be up to date with social media LinkedIn trends and best practices
• Influencing skills
• Creativity and innovation
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Commerically astute
• Methodical and organised, with the ability to work to deadlines
• Self-motivated and able to use initiative

About the Role

• Position will cover East Anglia, Cambridgeshire, South East and London regions
• Monday to Friday
• 40 hours per week
