Responsible Individual in Great Barrow

Job title – Responsible individual – Children’s care homes Salary: up to £65,000 Cooper Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Children’s care home provider on the search for a responsible individual to work across 7 of their homes.

This role will suit someone who has previous experience working with multiple homes as either a registered manager or a RI.

The right person will be exceptional at juggling workloads whilst also dealing with the demands of being the second line of management between the homes in your area and the directors.  

Your typical day will look like this: Managing 7 homes and their staff within the West Midlands Ensuring all standards of care are provided to the highest standards.

Support in future development of the care homes. 

Ensuring operations are effective and cost effective, delivered on time with quality in mind.

Work closely with the with senior management team to ensure all Ofsted requirements are met.

Delivering services on time, keeping within company guidelines.

Support directors with training needs and identify workforce requirements.

Implement identified risk management systems.

Ensure complaints, concerns, compliments and comments received by the service are investigated and acted upon.

Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the role.

This role will excite a person who: Level 5 in leadership for health and social care, children and young people (requirement) Experience working as an RI or registered manager in an EBD/LD children’s home (requirement) Full UK driving licence (requirement) Exceptional management skills Good understanding and knowledge of law, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.

A forward thinker who as the ability to anticipate and identified problems and situations before they occur.
