Residential Property Paralegal | Top 100 Law Firm | City of London | Negotiable Salary
Join a top 100 national law firm as a Residential Property Paralegal.
In this role, you will join the Real Estate Residential Property team at their London office to assist fee earners and the head of department with their caseloads and departmental development.
The Role:
As a paralegal you will work with the team to assist individuals throughout the conveyancing process.
This includes dealing with Help to Buy, Landlord and Tenant Disputes, New Build, Shared Ownership and Transfer of Equity matters, among others.
Your duties will include:
- Undertaking administrative tasks including telephone enquiries, making conveyancing transaction calls, responding to update requests from clients and third parties, and logging post
- Preparing contract packs for sale transactions
- Ordering documents from HM Land Registry
- Ordering bankruptcy, priority and company searches
- Preparing Certificate of Title files for completion Issuing documentation to clients for signature
About You:
- You have an in-depth understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- A good knowledge of general conveyancing and and registry practices is essential
- Strong customer service skills with experience providing high-quality customer service
- Experience with new build and help to buy matters is desirable
