The Role
As a Residential Childcare Trainer, your focus will be to supportlearners to reach their goals through their Residential Care Level 3 and 4. Asthe first point of contact for your learners you will provide the support theyneed to flourish through their apprenticeship journey with Realise.
Whilst we can’t promise that every day will be the same, your keyresponsibilities are likely to be:
- Supporting a caseload oflearners across your region, and remotely.
- Delivering a range ofaward-winning qualifications.
- Coming up with appropriatesolutions for your learners, to ensure that they have the best experiencepossible and develop their interest and career.
- Utilising an e-portfoliosystem to effectively manage the learner journey.

About You
- Assessment Qualification.(TAQA/A1/D32/33) - desirable
- Level 3 Teaching qualification - desirable
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare;or equivalent occupational competency - essential
- Residential care work experience- essential
- Previous experience of workingremotely
- IT competent with workingknowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in managing your owncaseload

-You can expect a two-stage interview process for this position, which willcompromise of: a 30 minute phone call with the Line Manager to discuss theposition, and a one-hour formal interview, likely on Teams, where we will askyou to prepare and deliver a short microteach, shortly followed by competencyand behavioural questions.
