Our Research and Technology teams play a key role in ensuring we areidentifying new product applications and technology opportunities as well ascontinually developing our existing product range.

We currently have an opportunity for a ResearchTeam Leader to join the Photoprotection synthesis team at ourDitton site in Cheshire.

We are looking fora knowledgeable, hands-on and enthusiastic scientist to lead thePhotoprotection synthesis team focused on the research and development of newproducts for our global sun care portfolio.

The main aspect of the role will be toeffectively manage projects within the team, supporting projects through tocompletion with a focus on particle design and development of metal oxides, suchas titanium dioxide and zinc oxide in powder and dispersion form.

The role willinvolve working within a broad technical and commercial community to takechemistry from concept to commercialisation, assisting lessexperienced team members through the same process, through coaching and teammotivation.

You will be able to lead and motivate a team

You will have a proven track record in project management and pushing projects forward to completion

You will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful conclusions

You should have excellent reporting and project tracking skills

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in chemistry or a related discipline

Desirables:

You will possess excellent laboratory skills

You will be expected to show initiative in developing innovative solutions to problems and projects

You will have the skill set to develop, coach and encourage all team members.
