Key Responsibilities of a Care Manager: Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality domiciliary care services.

Develop and implement strategies to increase private hours of care, ensuring growth and sustainability.

Oversee compliance with regulatory standards and policies, maintaining exceptional levels of service delivery.

Foster strong relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to understand and meet their needs effectively.

Provide effective leadership, guidance, and support to staff, promoting a positive work culture and professional development.

Care Manager Requirements: Previous experience in a managerial role within domiciliary care, demonstrating successful leadership and service growth.

Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in domiciliary care services.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, staff, and external partners.

Proven ability to develop and implement business strategies to drive private care hours growth.

Ability to effectively manage resources, budgets, and operational processes to achieve organisational goals.

Relevant qualifications in health and social care management or a related field (e.

g.

, NVQ Level 3).
