Registered Manager in Erith

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9-5 , On call duties a few times per week

Salary: £65,000 base plus £10k bonus and benefits

We are recruiting a Registered Ofsted Manager to be a part of the registration process and help establish a brand new 4-bed EBD home for young people. We are looking for a strong leader who can demonstrate successful previous achievements in an Ofsted setting.

My client is committed to continually investing in the service, their young people, and team members create a great working environment where young people can thrive. The home will support children between the ages of 7-17 years with SEMH needs including those with mild learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:-

-Working closely with the leadership team to drive successful registration with Ofsted including significant input into recruitment systems, and policies & procedures.

- Manage and oversee daily operations of the home.

- Provide leadership and supervision to your team.

- Develop and implement high quality care plans and risk assessments to keep their children safe and happy.

- Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Local Authority requirements.

Required Skills and experience:

- Significant experience of working within a similar setting and managing Ofsted inspections.

- Have preferably already obtained the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or committed to undergo this qualification.

- Ideally hold a full UK driving license.

- Passion and commitment to making a positive difference to the lives of young people.

- Resilient and strong communicator. -Proactive approach with ideas for continual improvements in all areas.

-Ability to train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.

-Knowledge of Ofsted regulations.

-Excellent organisation skills to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the home.
