Apply NowJM Workforce Services are currently working with a well-respected and emerging Children's Social Care provider based in Leicester to recruit a Registered Children's Home Manager for a new service.
Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Registered Manager to lead a residential children’s home in Leicester.
The Registered Manager will oversee the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, fostering a positive culture, and providing strong leadership to the staff team.
Responsibilities: * Oversee all aspects of the residential children’s home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
* Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team of staff, providing supervision, guidance, and support.
* Develop and implement individual care and behaviour plans, along with risk assessments for each child, ensuring their needs are effectively met.
* Maintain effective communication with children, families, external agencies, and professionals involved in their care.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
* Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently.
* Promote a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and respects the rights of children and young people.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, implementing improvements as necessary.
Requirements: * Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a residential children’s home setting.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) or working towards.
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted legislation, regulations, and best practices in childcare.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and resolve complex issues effectively.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Strong deputies can be considered, but would need to be working towards a Level 5 Compensation and Benefits: * £55,000 - £65,000 doe * Ofsted Judgement bonuses * 28 days annual leave + birthday off and paid * Private Healthcare Contribution * Referral recruiting bonuses * Employee Assistant Program
