The Regional Relationship Manager is a brand ambassador that visits corporates, municipalities, government departments and trade unions and engages interactively with their employees and members in order to provide money solutions in line with Bayport’s corporate strategy, brand promise and offerings and in line with the Corporate Payroll agreement.

Job Description

The Regional Relationship Manager is a brand ambassador that visits corporates, municipalities, government departments and trade unions and engages interactively with their employees and members in order to provide money solutions in line with Bayport’s corporate strategy, brand promise and offerings and in line with the Corporate Payroll agreement.
o The purpose of this engagement is to improve employees' overall financial wellbeing as well as maintaining sales and collections relationships. This will be done through employer and union engagement, employee engagement, financial evaluation detecting levels of distress and provide solutions in line with distressed levels and affordability.
o This includes feedback on employer-level and personal Credit Health Reports and creditworthiness, providing financial information/literacy, promoting tools and products in order to rehabilitate them and/ or to improve their financial situations.
o Ensure that these solutions are executed while providing support in upskilling branches, partners and on-site representatives to offer solutions effectively ensuring a positive customer experience and growing the Bayport Payroll loan book.
• Plan, arrange and implement effective activations, financial wellness days, presentations, training and on-site representation to promote Bayport’s offerings and products. This will be in support of the Bayport’s Senior Relationship and Activations Manager, Regional SalesManagers and through branch engagement.
• Ensure corporate activation are planned and executed in line with corporate engagement plan and strategy.
• Manage the deployment of resources and marketing material to ensure proper corporate onsite activation and engagement.
• Collaboratively engage with all internal stakeholders, partners, 3rd parties, creditors, Unions and Bayport branches to ensure the effective execution of the best outcome for the customer and Bayport’s Corporate promise.
• Ensure that all offerings are done in compliance with the agreement of the corporate, Bayport’s company policies and procedures and Industry regulations.
• Ensure that monthly Corporate targets are achieved.
• Working closely with branches and branch leaders while providing Money Solutions througheffective Corporate activations and engagement.
• Assist with all queries and complaints related to money solution offerings and business stakeholder engagement for the speedy resolution thereof.
• Through corporate and union relations assist on matters referred for distress assistance by escalating those matters to the Corporate Sales and/or Rehabilitation teams for resolution and report back to Corporate on those referred matters.

Provide daily and weekly reporting and feedback on activation campaigns, industry finding and corporate engagement/experiences to Senior Activations and Relationships manager to ensure best practice and to sustain Corporate relations.
• Assist the Employer Activations team in signing up new Corporate Payroll agreements by following the correct protocol and engagement strategy.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Matric or relevant NQF Level 4 qualification

DESIRED/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
• Min 1 year Diploma in Credit Management /Business Management /Marketing Management / T2 / NQF level 6 or relevant experience

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• 2 years experience in relationship management or key account management role
• 4 years financial services industry experience

DESIRED/PREFERABLE REQUIREMENTS
• 2 years experience or exposure in the sales environment in a managerial/supervisory role.
• 1-year experience as a Financial Wellness Consultant/Coach.
• Experience in liaising with external service providers and 3rd party management.
• Debt Rehabilitation and Debt Counselling/consultation experience/knowledge.
• Experience in organising and scheduling of training and coaching activities.
• Event planning and marketing skills.
• Knowledge of how to manage and establish corporate relations.
• Passion and desire to assist people in financial distress.
• Must have a valid Code 8 Drivers Licence.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and to travel.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
• Debt Counselling, Debt Administration, Legal process understanding.
• National Credit Act (NCA) basic knowledge.
• Credit Industry knowledge.
