BioTalent is a dynamic Life Science recruitment consultancy that was recently acquired by The IN Group. The IN Group was established 20 years ago as Investigo and has now grown to a global group of over 400 people covering recruitment, consultancy and talent advisory services; BioTalent (Life Science and Pharma recruitment), Investigo (Professional Services recruitment), Definia (Consultancy and Statement of Work), Sigma Labs (Hire, Train Deploy), Caraffi (Talent Advisory and RPO) and InX (Executive Search).

What we are looking for:

This role is suited to a recruitment consultant with 2+ years experience, ideally with experience of growing a contract desk within the Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Medical Device or SaMD markets.

  • 2+ years of contract recruitment experience and a passion for supporting life science companies (whether you've worked in that industry before, or not...)
  • Someone that is motivated by working in a fast paced environment.
  • You want to be a part of a high performing business that is culture led and values the contribution of each individual within the team.
  • Excellent communication and high levels of professionalism.

Why BioTalent?

  • Thought leadership approach to life sciences recruitment ; proactively training colleagues on their core markets, regular industry training conducted by experts working in the companies we partner with; plus budget allocation to attend local and international conferences.
  • From good to great to exceptional ; a robust learning and development group that provides group and 1 on 1 training for individuals at all levels of the business. Our ethos is to take £200K billers to £500K+ billers.
  • Having a seat when you bring something to the table ; fast-track progression into leadership positions for those wanting management responsibility, or structured 'top biller' pathways for those wanting to remain as high performing independent contributors, leading by example.
  • International mobility ; five offices across the US, our London HQ, and additional international expansion in the coming years creates opportunity for travel and relocation.
  • You get out what you put in ; uncapped commission going up to 50% of deal sizes, with no thresholds.
  • Provided the blueprint for success, rather than being scrutinised for stats ; individual 'what good looks like' goals to work toward on a weekly and monthly basis, based on your experience level, ambition and the market you're focused on. Hit your weekly WGLL goals and you can finish at 1pm on a Friday.
  • Community driven ; through our Race in STEM, Women in Engineering and BioTalent Social community platforms we are able to make a significant impact within our industry. Driving change through connecting others and providing a place for action, as well as discussion.
  • Providing total talent solutions ; talent acquisition means different things to different companies. We train our people to become exceptional in a variety of different areas; whether that's permanent recruitment, contractor staffing, statement of work project ownership, RPO/embedded hiring solutions, or retained and executive search.

What is on offer for you?

  • A market leading commission scheme of uncapped commission up to 50%
  • Annual summer incentive trips, summer & winter parties, plus quarterly lunch clubs
  • Hybrid working
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Paid sabbatical after 5 years of service
  • Period leave for women
  • Core hours - 10-4pm, giving you the flexibility needed to thrive!
  • 2 days per year charitable leave to work with our charity partners
  • Weekly target to finish at 1 pm on a Friday if you hit ‘What Good Looks Like'
  • Flexible lunches for gym-goers, plus subsidised gym within the office
  • Enhanced Maternity leave - 26 weeks full pay followed by 13 weeks at 50% of your usual pay and 13 weeks at statutory maternity rate (depending on the length of tenure)
  • Enhanced paternity leave - up to 4 weeks full paid paternity leave (depending on the length of tenure)
  • Dress down culture – feel free to be yourself at work whilst dressing for your day
  • Loans for home office set up
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
