The role

We are recruiting a Receptionist within our Property & Workplace Team to be based in our Leeds office.

The reception team are an integral part of the Front of House service; this team and individuals within are responsible for the efficient and effective running of the client floors, reservations and Property & Workplace helpdesk.

To meet the overall objective the post holder will need to embrace DLA values and the client journey philosophies to help foster a motivated and exceptional client focused team that supports the business needs and vision.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting and greeting all clients and visitors to ensure a good first impression of the firm is achieved
  • Booking meeting rooms and hospitality requirements via a computerised booking system
  • Booking and setting up Teams/Zoom connections and video conferencing meetings
  • Dealing with queries and requests from internal and external clients and visitors at all levels
  • Ensuring meeting rooms are clean and tidy and adequately stocked with stationery items
  • Liaising with the catering team to ensure meals and refreshments arrive on time
  • Ensure that meeting rooms are set up correctly with the correct equipment required
  • Assisting with meeting room furniture set ups
  • Setting up audio visual equipment and IT equipment
  • Organising taxis for clients and staff
  • Booking parking
  • Processing flower order requests
  • Assisting clients/visitors with enquires relating to directions and the local area
  • Report upwardly to the Reception Team Leader
  • Build a good working relationship with Business Development and event teams.
  • Work closely with Property & Workplace and IT building strong working relationships and providing support as required
  • Reporting cleaning tasks through the correct channels
  • Reporting maintenance tasks through the correct channels
  • Read and understand the requirements of the firm’s Health and Safety policy and ensure that it is applied appropriately

  • Demonstrates flexibility, initiative and a willingness to take responsibility
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Able to work calmly under pressure
