We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to join our client, a well-regarded Catholic school in Tower Hamlets, as the Second in Charge of the RE department.

This is a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2024.

Job Role Requirements:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RE lessons to students of various abilities.

Support the Head of Department in curriculum development and departmental administration.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.

Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

Uphold the school's Catholic ethos and values.

Qualifications and Person Specification:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Religious Education.

Proven experience in teaching RE at the secondary level.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues and students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to continuous professional development.

Ideally, experience in a leadership role within a school setting.
