Invision Recruitment are partnered with an Award-Winning, leading construction company who currently turnover circa£300 Million annually, whilst securing £2 Billion worth of developments in the pipeline.
Position: Project Quantity Surveyor
This flagship scheme consists of an old prison being demolished, to then be replaced by a huge residential development consisting of apartment blocks that will house close to 1000 units.
Key Responsibilities (Not Limited To)
Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a huge, flagship scheme, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of this live site, as well as managing the procurement of multiple packages at various stages of the build. Your role will involve, but not be limited to:
- Reviewing the programme of works
- Conducting monthly progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors
- Organising pre-start meetings with relevant subcontractors
- Distributing tender documentation to subcontractors
- Analysing subcontractor tender packages
- Awarding subcontractor packages
- Valuing completed works and negotiating payments
- Preparing and reviewing Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) on a monthly basis
- Managing cost control and reporting
