Role Description- Main Contractor Quantity Surveyor
Management of all aspects of the contractual and financial aspects from inception to final account stage of several projects simultaneously varying in value from £10,000 - £4,000,000
- Procure the services of Sub-Contractors and Suppliers on all projects
- Produce Sub-Contact and Purchase Orders for all works on site
- Produce monthly valuations
- Producing financial projections, cash flow and forecasts.
- Measure and value works undertaken on site
- Estimate and price variations
- Liaise with clients
- Produce final reports financial reports on all projects
- Assist Contracts team with the successful management of all projects
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Relevant qualifications in Construction or Surveying
- Membership with professional bodies such as RICS or CIOB is preferred
