Position Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of our projects. You will be responsible for managing and optimising project costs, working alongside our construction teams to guarantee that we deliver exceptional homes to our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of shaping the future of the housing market in the North West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Management: Effectively manage project budgets, costs, and expenses, ensuring that they align with project specifications and financial objectives.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to secure competitive pricing.
  • Budget Analysis: Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality of materials and workmanship, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to project budgets and schedules.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a focus on new build housing.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software for quantity surveying.
