My client, a renowned M&E contractor is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support their continued demand.

As a Quantity Surveyor you will possess a strong negotiation and interpersonal skills and a knowledge of construction contracts and regulations. Alongside a proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor, it is essential that the successful candidate is proficient in using cost estimation tools.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor project related budgets and implement cost-saving measures.
• Negotiate contracts; With suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure terms favour the needs of the projects.
• Risk management.
• Identify financial risk and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Provide detailed analysis of the cost and benefits of the projects.
• Maintain procurement and payment processes.
• Communicate with clients, and provide dispute resolution.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Great networking ability.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., cost estimation tools, project management software).
• Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations
