We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor based in or around Manchester to join a growing Fitout and Refurbishment company.

Projects are generally commercial and can include a variety of offices, schools/colleges or even labs.

In terms of location, projects are all based within roughly an hour of Manchester.

Being no further North than Leeds and no further south than Stafford.

The salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.

Ideally, they’re looking for someone with some experience that'd like to continue growing their own experience as the company grows.

You'll be working directly alongside the Manchester's office, project director.

The ideal salary would be £60,000 but they are open to some negotiation should you be looking for a little more.

Job Role: * Manage projects through the entire project lifecycle.

* Prepare estimates, cost plans and tender documentation using various forms of measurement and contracts.

* Be comfortable measuring schedules of works and bills of quantities/activity schedule production.

* Manage and prepare both tender and contract documentation.

* Support and input into procurement and tendering processes and evaluation/award of contracts.

* Attend client and progress meetings and provide input and support to the project.

* Price and prepare financial reports and cashflow forecasts throughout the duration of contracts and provide general post contract cost management and control.

* Provide input into the financial aspects of change management.

* Carry out re-measurement of quantities with contractors if necessary and prepare and agree final accounts and claims.

Prepare final accounts for clients that are suitable for audit.

Skills and Qualifications: * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor * You must have prior experience with fitout packages * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
