Kenton Black are currently working with a Civil Engineering/Build company to recruit a Quantity Surveyor in Perthshire.

With an ever-growing order book throughout Perthshire our client has a number of ongoing and upcoming high profile Civil and Build projects which the successful Quantity Surveyor would be an integral part of.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in civil engineering/groundwork and building works.

As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for;
•Assisting with the appointment of sub-contractors and employees
•Dealing with Tender packages
•Prepare and submit financial reports, forecasts, and budget updates to project stakeholders.
•Dealing with project variations.
•Monitor project costs, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions as required.
•Conduct cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control
•Working as part of the management team to ensure the contract is delivered profitably.

To be considered for the Quantity Surveyor role you will require;
•Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
•Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Civils/Build industry
•Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control.
•Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
•Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
