A small family owned independent group practice, with deep roots in the local community, and enviable reputation are now seeking to employ a Qualified Dispensing Optician in their Southampton based practice. They are ideally looking at part time, but will consider full time.

This practice prides itself on its clinical excellence and putting the customer number one at all times. They offer a relaxed service to their clients with a high end range of frames and lenses including Gucci, Tiffany & Co, Rayban and Bvlgari to name a few.
They command a prominent position in a quaint part of the city with strong footfall and a large and loyal customer base.
They have a friendly well trained and capable support team in place that are all focussed on ensuring the customer journey is of the highest standard.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

As a Qualified Dispensing Optician, you will be a member of the senior team and guide and give training to the support team.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

" You will have full GOC registration as well as up to date with all CET requirements.
" Have a minimum of one-year registration.
" Looking for around 28 hours a week (may consider full time)
" Be able to work Monday- Friday and two Saturday mornings a month- no sundays!
" A passion for optics and customer service.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

The salary on offer is between £28,000- £30,000 basic salary pro rata (dependant on experience and how you present in interview) additional benefits such as an annual bonus scheme in place and 20 days holidays + bank holidays pro rata.
