Purchasing Officer in Ramsbottom

We are recruiting a Purchasing Officer to join our Finance department.

The successful post holder will provide a high quality procurement service for all departments across the College.

With a good general education including GCSE Maths (A*-C) and knowledge of purchasing a variety of goods and services, our Purchasing Officer will liaise with College staff to determine their needs and proactively source goods and services to ensure value for money and timely delivery.

Responsibilities will include building strong working relationships with College suppliers, monitoring delivery time and maintaining accurate records, as well as contributing to the wider College Finance team, maintaining systems and responding to queries.

Experience of purchasing goods and services for a large organisation and working to set deadlines is essential for this role.

The salary for this post is up to £31,229 pro rata.
