Armstrong Knight are delighted to be advertising the position-Property Manager.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join a well established, progressive Estate Agents based in Hackney.
Covering a maternity leave, this is a 12-18 month contract that could lead to a permanent position.
Candidate Duties
To take ownership of allocated property portfolio and assist with others in line with the needs of the business, ensuring the customer knows who to contact.
Maintain regular contact with relevant branches to ensure there is clear joined up thinking between departments.
Booking the renewal of gas safety certificates
Ensuring all properties are compliant and in line with current legislation
Booking check out inspections, negotiating the release of the Tenancy Deposit to avoid TDS disputes wherever possible.
Deregister deposit upon successful conclusion.
Liaise with contractors to ensure repairs and maintenance works are carried out to a satisfactory standard and timescale and in line with any guarantee, warranties
Act as liaison between landlords, tenants, contractors
Respond to all enquiries from landlords, tenants, and contractors.
Arrange property visits through 3rd party inventory clerk, which detail where work may be required and taking instructions to remedy in order to maximise rent potential
Liaising with tenants and landlords
Ensure that relevant payments are instructed promptly and properly regarding contractors, deposits and landlord bills
