What you’ll do


We are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic newly qualified Solicitor to join our growing and well regarded Property Litigation team.


Based in our Exeter office, you will be working directly with the partners on a range of litigious property related matters, such as; co-ownership disputes, neighbour disputes (rights of way, adverse possession, harassment, boundary disputes), lease disputes, commercial rent recovery, enforcement of charges, possession and rectifying historic title issues.


As a naturally confident trainee or qualified solicitor, you will be looking to extend your practice and develop your skills within an ambitious, forward-thinking Firm.

We'll expect you to take a high degree of responsibility for the cases you're working on from the outset, with plenty of opportunity for client contact, whilst providing you with a supportive and stimulating team environment.


Who you are


With previous property litigation experience either as part of your training contract or in a newly qualified role, you will have gained experience of a range of residential and commercial contentious property matters within a sizeable regional or city firm, which will enable you to transition quickly into our team.


You will be an excellent communicator, readily gaining the confidence of the clients you are working with, and handling their matters with empathy and sensitivity, whilst possessing the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with clients, and show a genuine commitment to their care.


Naturally resilient, you will be able to cope with stressful and demanding situations, and be accustomed to working under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.

You will be tenacious and thorough with good commercial judgement, in order to find the best possible outcomes for our clients in often challenging circumstances.


With a keen eye for detail and meticulous in your work, you will be looking to take on high levels of responsibility from the outset.
