We're looking to bring someone in with ideally at least 1 year of post qualified experience in this field, and perhaps a number of years, (although we will of course consider candidates outside of this guide.)

The role

From the moment you join us, you'll be struck by the camaraderie of our Watford based property team of 3 solicitors, 2 associates, 3 senior associates and 2 Partners, David Power and Joe Kwok. Your day to day role will involve working most closely with David and a newly qualified solicitor, enjoying the opportunity to get involved in a full range of development work, largely residential, with some perhaps of a commercial nature. As a specialist in your field, you'll be excited by the prospect of furthering your knowledge and will relish the opportunity to be out in the market, building relationships with our developer clients.

This role will give you the best of both worlds- being part of a small sub-team where you can focus purely on development work, together with all of the advantages of being part of a large team including the social and well -being benefits that can bring.

About you

You're a property development lawyer, most likely with a background in residential development (although we will consider candidates with a background in commercial development). We anticipate you will have at least around a year of post qualified experience under your belt and are now looking to join a team where there's both commitment and capacity to help you to develop your skills. Where will I be working? 

At VWV we have a truly unique and engaging culture that we hold dear. Whilst we work to a hybrid model, for this role we would like you to work from our Watford office for 4 or more days of the week. In this way, you'll benefit first-hand from our warm and friendly culture as well as facilitate cross referral opportunities from your colleagues in the wider department and other teams.
