Project Design Engineer in Middle Hulton

White Label are excited to be working with a growing manufacturing company based in North Manchester. Due to company expansion, they seek a Project Design Engineer to join their growing office, where you will be part a busy engineering team delivering on bespoke customer requirements.If you are a Design Engineer with project delivery experience seeking an exciting new challenge, please read on.Responsibilities: * Create Bespoke Designs in 3D to suit customers specific applications. * Liaise with client to obtain design approval based on GA Drawings. * Create Accurate Detailed Technical drawings using SolidWorks in accordance with customer requirement and to agreed time frame. * Compile Issue Sheets/BOM’s. * Maintain customer contact through Project delivery and after delivery to ensure customer satisfied. * Liaise with Technical and Production departments including professional handover of projects for manufacture. * Liaise with metalwork suppliers and other vendors on project related tasks. * Developed Qualification Documents and Operation & Maintenance Manuals. * Attend customer progress meetings. * Responsible for day to day running of projects. * Ensure Project files kept up to date, including saving all correspondence emails. * Update and maintain and project tracking tools. * Ask for peer reviews on challenging work where a second opinion gives best outcome for the client. * Report to Contract Manager as required. * Attend meetings on Client sites when applicable. * Develop new Designs and Product Improvements. * Review and Qualify new components.Experience Required: * 12 months minimum experience as a Design Engineer * Degree or apprenticeship qualified * Must have Solidworks experience * Must have full rights to work in the UK – unfortunately this company cannot offer sponsorship at this time * Exposure to sheet metal design preferredPackage: * £38K to 45K depending on experience. * Hours of work, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 2.30pm * Company pension scheme. * Company bonus scheme.Please apply immediately if this is of interest and you would like to be considered for the role.
