Wood has an opportunity for a Project Control Manager based in our Staines office.

In this role you will be assigned to a project leading a team of planning engineers, cost engineers and document controllers.

You will be responsible for all project control functions through FEED and Bidding phase.


  • Degree or HNC / HND preferred in an engineering discipline although relevant experience or related qualification will also be considered
  • Substantial experience in planning, progress measurement, cost control, change management and document control on all project phases from front end design through to construction completion which should have been gained in the refinery, petrochemicals or oil and gas industries
  • Must have a strong understanding of planning, progress measurement, cost and change control
  • A proven track record within the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or similar industries
  • A pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done
  • Excellent communication skills and a pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done
  • Self-motivated, energetic and tenacious
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
