Once acquired, portfolio companies plug into AscendX’s growth engine including Go To Market, product development, finance and operational support. We are currently seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our team and drive the success of our product offerings.

Position Overview:

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and engagement for our portfolio of ISVs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to ensure our portfolio’s products are positioned effectively in the market & we are talking the language of the customer. Ideally, you have experience within the Salesforce ecosystem and a proven track record of working with a portfolio of SAAS products (rather than a single product). 

Key Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Assist portfolio companies in conducting market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Help analyze market data to develop insights and recommendations for product positioning and messaging.

Product Positioning and Messaging:

  • Develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Create and maintain product marketing collateral, including sales decks, and case studies.

Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for ISV product launches and feature updates.
  • Collaborate with ISV product managers to define product roadmaps and prioritize features based on market demand.

Sales Enablement:

  • Provide ISV sales teams and AscendX alliances teams with the tools and training they need to effectively sell our portfolio of products.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, including product demos, competitive analysis, and objection handling guides for portfolio companies.

Customer Engagement:

  • Develop customer case studies and testimonials to showcase the value of our products & distribute them to the right audience of Salesforce SIs, SEs and product teams.

Demand Generation:

  • Plan and execute demand generation campaigns to drive product awareness and lead generation.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Support third-party agencies that help execute the strategy that you define.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SaaS product marketing.
  • Proven experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of SaaS companies is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and market dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools and Salesforce.
