Product Governance Manager – Salary circa £58,000

With significantly increased focus on the way we develop and maintain our products and services across IW&R (Insurance, Wealth & Retirement) business, we are expanding our central Propositional Governance team with the appointment of a new Propositional Governance Manager. A bit about the job:

The main purpose of this role is to provide support to our Proposition owners through the provision of tools, guidance and support to increase insight and efficiency with the development of new propositions and oversight of our existing estate. This will continually improve the confidence with propositional management ensuring that good customer outcomes can be achieved, and risks of consumer harm can be identified.

Areas of responsibility will include:

Leading the collation and production of all IW&R level propositional management reporting including the production of updates to senior committees and Boards

Developing new, and enhancing existing, areas of insight to improve the IW&R view of product performance and value

Analysis of propositional management activity to identify areas for improvement and sharing of best practice

Support to the IW&R Proposition Teams with the embedding of frameworks and tools, including OneView (Propositional Management platform) and Ataccama (IW&W Product Database)

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Proven experience working in the Financial Services industry

Excellent senior stakeholder and relationship management experience

Broad understanding of Propositional Governance requirements and the ability to apply across IW&R to meet customer, regulatory and internal expectations, specifically through a Consumer Duty lens.

Broad knowledge of the IW&R proposition estate and how this is managed across IW&R

Ability to simplify the complex with excellent attention to detail, matched with proficient presentation and report writing skills.

Starting salary circa £58,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
