What will you be doing?
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
- Source suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products, and evaluate their suitability for the organisation.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and track inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
- Analyze procurement data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle any procurement-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
Are you the ideal candidate?
- 2-3 years of proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role, preferably in the automation or technology industry (not essential).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and relevant regulations.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
