The role

Reporting to our Head of Build, you will play a pivotal role in managing our procurement function for all fittings, products and materials for multiple on-going residential renovation projects as well as supporting the finance team around supplier payments and invoices.


Your responsibilities

  • Procurement Ordering
  • Manage the procurement process for project materials in accordance with project timelines and budgets.
  • Working with our design and build team, you will be responsible for the speccing, sourcing, ordering, and delivering of specified items on time and within budget.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of all project items.
  • Collaborate with interior designers to understand project requirements and provide input on materials, fixtures, and product selection.
  • Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure item specifications align with project goals and client expectations.
  • Manage delivery schedules, liaising with suppliers and contractors, and track delivery timeliness, accuracy, dealing with any issues that arise.
  • Maintain and update our database of approved products and vendors to ensure accurate pricing working with Head of Design and Product teams
  • Procurement Financial Support
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, budgets, and returns.
  • Conduction monthly project profitability analysis on material spend vs. budget
  • Provide ongoing support to the Finance team with Accounts Payable bookkeeping, including payments, invoicing, and reconciliation of monthly vendor's credit accounts.


About you


Essential

  • Proven experience in FF&E renovation project procurement along and / or working with finance or accounting
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively work with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills, familiarity with excel or google sheets
  • Proficient in using procurement software and google suite of products.


Desirable

  • Experience/comfortable working with accounting software Xero
  • A personal interest in sustainability and creating greener products is a plus.

This is a full-time position with a flexible balance of days at our London office at Old Street and home days. This will require visits to building sites as well
